Pinhole Camera Tests

I have built, two, 4X5 negative, pinhole cameras. The idea was to make very long exposure photographs in the desert. I wanted to leave the cameras in the field, in different places and pick them up after some period of time. The longest exposure that I succeeded to make was a 7 days exposure (two last photographs).

I have used different focal lengths and different filters. Eventually I used 350mm focal length and welder mask glass, as a filter.

While testing, I had to test not only the exposures, but developing process also. Sometimes I had to cut the negatives in half and develop them differently. I wrote on the negatives the time of the exposure, the technique and the developing time.
